2024-2025

Over a period of four months, I spent several days at Berlin Brandenburg Airport and photographed nearly 100 people during that time—after a long journey, while emigrating, or shortly before a long-awaited reunion.
Airports have always fascinated me as transit spaces in constant motion, full of different plans and a wide variety of emotions. Non-places without personal connections, yet full of individual stories. Luggage tags tell of journeys, bouquets of flowers of reunions, tears of farewell or welcome, excitement of adventure and uncertainty, the speed of everyday life, objects of lifestyle, goals of life phases and stories.

Excerpts from a serial portrait.
