Die Serie ist Teil des Shooting Day Weissensee, einer Zusammenarbeit zwischen der Fachklasse Fotografie und der Klasse Bildredaktion der Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie in Berlin.
Die Serie wurde von Yen Duong in Auftrag gegeben und editiert.

Verbringe bitte einen Tag am See und bitte beobachtet, welchen Aktivitäten die Menschen dort nachgehen und wie sie dort Ihre Zeit gestalten. Bitte dokumentiere visuell abwechslungsreich, aber mit einem roten Faden, den Mikrokosmos Park mit allem was dazugehört: den Menschen und die Natur.
Kannst Den den erwartbaren Aktionen wie Joggen und Spazierengehen ungewöhnliche Situationen gegenüberstellen? Findest Du im Park Besonderheiten z.B. kleine Details, die zum Innehalten einladen und den Park aus einem anderen Bilck zeigen?
“Ich erreichte Weissensee vor Sonnenaufgang. Während des Vormittags konnte ich beobachten, wie das Licht die Umgebung formt und verändert. Später funkelte die Sonne auf der Wasseroberfläche und durch die frühherbstlich gefärbten Blätter. Während einiger Runden um den See, bemerkte ich schnell wie familiär die Stimmung hier war. Man grüßte sich im Vorbeigehen und aus Gesprächen konnte ich entnehmen, dass sich viele untereinander kannten und viel Zeit hier verbrachten.” (Lotte Weber, 30. September 2025)

The series is part of Shooting Day Weissensee, a collaboration between the photography class and the image editing class at the Ostkreuzschule für Fotografie in Berlin.

Please spend a day at the lake and observe the activities people engage in there and how they spend their time. Please document the microcosm of the park with everything that goes with it—the people and nature—in a visually varied way, but with a common thread.
Can you contrast the expected activities such as jogging and walking with unusual situations? Can you find special features in the park, e.g., small details that invite you to pause and show the park from a different perspective?
"I arrived at Weissensee before sunrise. During the morning, I was able to observe how the light shapes and changes the surroundings. Later, the sun sparkled on the water's surface and through the early autumn-colored leaves. During a few laps around the lake, I quickly noticed how familiar the atmosphere was here. People greeted each other as they passed by, and from their conversations I could tell that many of them knew each other and spent a lot of time here." (Lotte Weber, September 30, 2025)
